To understand the issue of sanitary , education crops, livestock, irrigation , drainage system in villages dept of Agriculture, Mewar University selected and visited a nearby village name Khutia on 2nd February 2019, to conduct a random survey. A meeting took place between village Sarpanch Mrs Seema Salvi and Agriculture faculties. Elders and farmers were also present in this meeting. Exchange of thought provoking ideas took place between both the parties. The villagers learned about better ways of keeping health and hygiene, sanitary upkeep, importance of education, new ways of irrigation methods and techniques and pesticides available in the market. Farmers got to learn about irrigation methods in detail. Farmers were happy to see such an initiative has been taken in their village and all valuable information provided are coming free of cost. Survey was conducted in the village by both faculties and students to learn more about village and thus utilize the data for scientific research activities. The effort was appreciated by the University staff and villagers alike.
