Nowadays this beautiful earth is facing a lot of un-natural moments like exponential increasing of population, maximum uses of fertilizers, pollutions and many more. Things must be balanced otherwise they will behave like abnormal. Due to increases of these abnormalities many unwanted outcomes we are facing like Tsunamis, earthquake, draughts, excess melting of ice, lack of fertilization capacity of land etc. the national conference on disaster management aims to discuss many aspects of disaster management aand will have special focus on research on drought and advances on response policies on order to foster the researches. To make awareness, department of Mathematics has organized a national Conference on Disaster Management with special Focus on Drought Monitoring & Mitigation on 08 to 09 March 2019. Dr. Yudhvir Singh, Dr. Satish Ameta, Mr. Syed Maqbool Ahmad, Dr. Chetali Agarwal, and many other eminent speakers have given vulnerable speech on this topic. They have told about water management, drought risk, drought policies and planning, land degradation and desertification, losses of local economy in drought situation, crises management, and medical needs in drought. Audiences were benefitted and became more aware by this conference.
