Mewar University, in collaboration with Jammu Kashmir Study Centre, is organizing an all India essay competition to promote creative thinking and legal understanding on the issues related to Jammu and Kashmir. The competition will be open to students from all Universities/Institutes/Colleges, imparting legal education in the country. The essay will be on the following topics:

a.            Genesis and nature of Article 370 of the Constitution of India.

b.            Process of constitutional integration of Jammu & Kashmir.

c.             Implications of Article 370 of the Constitution of India.

d.            J&K and United Nations.

The first Prize for each of the four topics is Rs. 11,000/- each, and for 25 most well-researched essays, there will be a consolation prize be Rs. 2100/- for each successful candidate. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.

The last date of submission is 20^th June 2013.
