Mewar University to felicitate Top 10 in MUEEE-2012 on June 10, 2012

Chittorgarh: Finally, the cat is out of the bag. The Top 10 List of MUEEE-2012 has been declared by Mewar University. Vikas Taneja of Jawahar Navodaya Vidaylaya, Mavli  (Raj.) has topped the Mewar University Entrance Examination (MUEEE) 2012 held on May 5, 2012.  Pravin Dubey of ELC Higher Secondary School, Sagar (MP) made it to the second rank whereas Abhijeet Bhanawat of Green Valley Sr. Secondary School, Bhilwara (Raj.) made it to the third rank. The remaining seven candidates in terms of their rankings in the MUEEE-2012 Top 10 list are: Rahul Jain of Kamla Montessori School, Sirsa (Haryana),Tarun Malhotra of Kamla Montessori School, Sirsa (Haryana), Vinay Mittal  of St. Vivekanand Sr. Secondary School, Bikaner (Raj.),  Prince Gautam of Vidur Navodaya Sr. Secondary School, Kota (Raj.), Nipurna Gulguliya of Yadav Bharti Sr. Secondary School, Bikaner (Raj.),Chitranshu Shivhare of Siddharth Modern S. H. School, Gwalior (MP) and Navdeep Kaur of St. Vivekanand Sr. Secondary School, Bikaner (Raj.).

The candidates, coming in the Top 10, have qualified for cash awards and tuition fee waiver, and they shall be felicitated at an award ceremony, which will be held at the University Campus at Gangrar in Chittorgarh on June 10, 2012. The candidate, securing the first rank in the MUEEE merit list, receives a Cash Award of Rs.1, 00, 000 and a waiver of 50% in tuition fees for the 4th/5th year of the program; the candidate, securing the second rank, gets a Cash award of Rs.75,000 and a waiver of 50% in tuition fees for the 4th/5th year of the program; and the candidate, securing the third rank, gets a Cash Award of Rs. 50,000 and a waiver of 50% in tuition fees for the 4th/5th year of the program. Similarly, the other rank holders are also rewarded as per their rankings in MUEEE.

More than two thousand students had participated in this All India Engineering Entrance Test conducted for the first time by  Mewar University for its engineering colleges. Mewar University’s annual intake for its engineering colleges is of 960 students, inclusive of the seats filled up through the All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE)Mewar University has emerged as a leading centre of technical and higher education in its short span of existence.
