73^rd Independence Day was celebrated at Mewar University which was organised by Department of Electrical Engineering and ECE. Celebration began with the flag hoisting by the Chief Guest Shri. Govind Lal Gadiya, Chairman, Mewar Educational Society. It was followed by the March Past by the Security Guards and students. Shri. Govind Lal Gadiya has enlightened the celebration with his speech on Independence Day and motivated everyone’s mind with patriotic thoughts. The event was followed by various cultural performances by the students and faculty members of Mewar University. The winner of essay writing competition on Quit India Movement, Ms. Divya Kumari was given certificate and trophy by the Chief Guest. Vote of Thanks was given by OSD, Shri. H Widhani and it was followed by sweet distribution for students and staff members of the University.
